To help Canadians buy Canadian, I’ve cut my prices drastically

America’s unwarranted tariffs on Canada are stupid, but we’re not panicking. We’ll get through this, and Canadians are responding with a massive grassroots movement boycotting all American made goods. I fully support this boycott, as well as my government’s response to the tariffs with our own reciprocal tariffs on American imports.

However, tariffs will be painful for many, and so I’ve decided to reduce my prices as of today. I’ve drastically reduced my prices for my handmade Canadian knives, and cut my sharpening fees, (no pun intended).

All my knives are completely 100% made here in Ontario (okay, with one exception. I have a veggie chopper in stock that was hand forged in Ukraine. I’m all for supporting Ukraine however I can!).

You can follow the #BuyCanadian and #BoycottUSA on Bluesky and Facebook, and I’m sure other platforms but I don’t go there.

So buy Canadian! Consider one of my handmade knives for a great gift for that cook or foodie in your life.

If you’re not in the market for a knife, the Globe and Mail has provided an excellent list of how and where to find Canadian made goods as alternatives to American, for a wide range of products for pretty much everything from groceries to hardware to furniture or whatever…

Lists of ideas for shopping Canadian can be found all over the internet and social media.
