Description

This is a very unique, on-of-a-kind paring knife entirely forged by hand from the spring steel of a Ford F150 pickup truck. Entirely forged, assembled and finished in Canada.

The full tang handle uses a gorgeous Black Limba hardwood. The blade is 4 inches long. The handle is 4 1/8 long″.

Some forge marks are still visible, as I didn’t want to polish them all out after forging. The forge marks tell the story of how this blade was made, so I intentionally left them.

The steel has been heat treated to an excellent edge holding temper and is extremely sharp.
Truck leaf spring is made from high carbon 5160 steel, an excellent steel for making knives, and you’ll get to tell all your friends that your paring knife is forged from a truck – how cool is that!

A unique on-of-a-kind kitchen knife with an interesting story, entirely hand forged in Canada.

* Please note, this is made from a very strong high carbon steel, but it is not stainless and will rust if not cleaned and dried after use.
